General Informatics Corporate Headquarters
Manning Architects and Eskew+Dumez+Ripple, a joint venture (EDRMA), were engaged by General Informatics, a regional Information Technology company, for the architectural design of a new corporate headquarters and campus called @Highland. @Highland is a 50,000 square foot three-story office building located in Baton Rouge, LA on an 8.5-acre campus. This building will include class A commercial office space, light retail, and a potential food venue.

The architectural design intent was to provide an innovative campus and facility suitable for their growing workforce and in keeping with the lushly landscaped, creative workspaces of high-tech companies in the Pacific Northwest.

Particular attention was paid to the existing Live Oak trees on the site that were maintained. The building itself incorporated sustainable features such as daylighting and stormwater management. The interior incorporates modular wall systems to achieve maximum flexibility in an ever-changing tech industry.
