As President and CEO of Manning Architects, Ray Manning is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s management, business development, finances, and performance of professional services. Mr. Manning has more than 30 years of professional experience in the design and construction of civic, residential, commercial, health care, recreational, industrial, and transportation facilities for an array of public and private sector clients. As a result of such extensive experience, Mr. Manning has the skills and knowledge necessary to manage large, complex projects. Prior to establishing a private practice, Mr. Manning was a project architect with respected architectural firms in Louisiana and Michigan, and a staff architect and urban designer for the City of New Orleans, the Minnesota Department of Transportation, and the Federal Highway Administration.

Mr. Heck has been practicing all phases of design and construction for more than 25 years. His extensive experience in an array of project types and delivery systems renders his experience invaluable in today’s fast-paced environment of design and construction. From small to large scale, high profile projects, Mr. Heck’s ability to foster team involvement provides for exemplary project delivery. Well-known for his dedication and perseverance, Mr. Heck has become a mentor and team builder, challenging others to produce and aspire beyond expectations, resulting in leading the team to gratifying project completion that exceeds client expectations.

Miwako P. Hattori

Miwako P. Hattori

Ms. Hattori joined Manning Architects in 1997 and has 14 years of experience as a Project Manager / Project Architect. Prior to working at Manning Architects, her architecture experience included work in Japan and Germany. As Studio Director, her focus has been on education and transportation projects.

Conway Cristina

With over 30 years of professional experience, Mr. Cristina’s extensive background includes commercial and residential design and renovation, contract document production, construction, financial and computer systems management, and computer imaging. In his current role as Studio Director, his focus has been on transportation and hospitality projects. Mr. Cristina also oversees project accounting and billing, project budgets, schedules and resources.
